Kingsley House stands on the historic site of the Tetbury parish workhouse, which has existed since at least the late 18th century. This historic building has gone through several phases of redevelopment, from workhouse to maternity hospital, to reach what ultimately became Tetbury House Nursing Home as we know it.
Nestled in the heart of Tetbury, Kingsley House has stood proud for more than 250 years. The home today continues the building’s 250 year tradition of care and community service in one of Gloucestershire’s most historic and distinctive towns, known for its wool heritage, medieval streets, and royal connections, with an ancient history stretching back more than 1,300 years.
